Born from a growing obsession with sours this beer is the start of our sour brewing journey. Just one of many fruit forward kettle sours to come.
Aiming to please all of those familiar with the style, as well as those new to sour beer, the tried and tested Berliner Weisse seems the perfect choice. The clean, citrus forward sourness pairs extremely well with the naturally tart raspberry and aims to produce a refreshing, low-ABV beer that has a gentle uplifting zing to excite the senses.
This particular beer was kettle soured using Lallemand’s WildBrew™ Sour Pitch. A safe and easy way to introduce a specific strain of Lactobacillus (Planterum) into beer.
