On our constant quest to create the perfect American IPA we have this time turned our attention to yeast. Specifically the dried form of Kveik Voss. Renowned for it’s ability to produce stone fruit esters that are well suited to fruity American IPA’s and Pale ales.
This particular strain comes from LalBrew® and is the first of it’s kind to be commercially sold in dry form. Suffice to say, we were extremely pleased with the results and will be using it regularly in the brew-house.
